Message: Rick’s transmission has earned a customer for life. Evan was incredibly nice and made the whole thing a nice experience. We brought my car in at around 3:15 and it was fixed before 5 o’clock when most places would just let it sit there untouched for a day. The whole thing cost less than 100 dollars which was an absolute relief for me as a college student. Will absolutely be using them for everything i can!

Rebuilding the Transmission in my old suburban was much less then the estimate I’d been given by the franchise transmission shop on Macfarland. The turn around time was great and the staff was nice. Message: My experiences with this shop leads me to believe that they are fair and very honest with their customers. Three years ago I bought a 2008 Dodge Dakota with only 75, 000 miles from one of the contracting companies located at the Mercedes factory in Vance. I was told that the truck needed a new transmission. The truck looked brand new and I got a great deal on the price, so I was okay with spending money to replace the transmission-even though I new it would be about $1500-$2500. A mechanic friend of mine recommended Rick's Quality Transmissions to me and said that his work (a used car dealership in town) sends all their cars that need major transmission repairs to Rick's. Trusting my friend, I towed the truck to Rick's Quality Transmission and told them I needed the truck's transmission replaced. I spoke with the owner (the man in the picture on this review page next to a lady) and he told me that they would change it and have it done in about 3-5 days. The next day the owner called me and said my truck was ready and the charge was $300. When I picked up my truck he explained that a pin of some kind had fallen out of one of the components inside the transmission and was causing the transmission to not work. They replaced the pin, did some adjustments, and replaced the fluids and filters. I was shocked! They could have easily lied to me and said they replaced the transmission and I would not know any difference, but they didn't-they chose instead to be honest and fair. I often feel like I am at the mercy of car repair shops and I just have to hope and trust that they are being honest and fair with me. It was so nice to personally experience the integrity of the people at Rick's Quality Transmissions Inc. Loyal customer for life!
